Azi Ahmadi is a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association and a Certified Diabetes Educator with the American Association of Diabetes Educators.

She received her Master of Science degree in clinical
nutrition from New York University and completed her
dietetic training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in
New York City. Furthermore, she holds a Bachelor
degree in Exercise Physiology from Springfield College
in Massachusetts.
Azi has served as a clinical dietitian at the Mount Sinai
Medical Center and St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital center
(both located in NYC), for eight years, where she
specialized in critical care and pediatric nutrition
support. In addition, she provided direction for the planning and implementation of clinical research
trials for various pharmacology weight loss agents
including Meridia and Xenical.
She was a consultant for Equinox Fitness Centers in
NYC, where her clientele included actors, models and
elite athletes. As a collegiate distance runner, she
specialized in the 5000 and 10,000 meter events, in
which she earned All-East titles for three consecutive
years. She has since completed several marathons and competes in races regularly. Sports and exercise nutrition are personal as well as professional interests for her.
